Moss Feet Shoes FAQ
What is the correct size Moss Feet Shoes for my child?
Why should my children wear soft soled shoes?
Not all that many years ago, it was widely believed that the best footwear for children had hard soles and high ankles. Now we know that hard-soled shoes on babies and toddlers only serve to hinder proper foot development. The early months and years of your child’s life are a critical time for supporting growing joints and bones. Your baby’s feet grow faster in the first three years than at any other time in their life. During these early years your child’s foot is very fragile and neglect of their feet early in life can lead to many problems down the road.
Are soft-soled shoes recommended by doctors?
Soft-soled shoes made of natural breathable materials are recommended by the American Podiatric Medical Association as the next best thing to going barefoot. Dr. Lynn T. Staheli, a prominent orthopedic orthopedist, states that “it should be lightweight, flexible, shaped more or less quadrangularly, and above all, should not have the arch supports and stiff sides once deemed necessary to give the foot support.”
