In the fall of 2004, we started to search for a play kitchen for our granddaughter for her Christmas present. After looking at local toy stores, catalog stores, and extensively on the internet, we decided to build the kitchen ourselves. Yes, there are plenty of very nice play kitchens available, but none of them had the feel and character of a "real" kitchen in minature. We saw several kitchens in pastel or primary colors, but we wanted to create a kitchen that looked like a grown-up kitchen but sized for a three year-old to grow with.

After lots of hard work, and searching for the perfect sized pieces, we created the first kitchen for Kyra (our granddaughter) and Kyra's Kitchen was born.

From that first kitchen, we learned a lot. We offer a one piece, no assembly required unit that includes the stove top, sink, and oven. Kyra's Kitchen base unit measures 44" long, 16" deep, and 26" tall.
